Who we are

Markentivo’s website is hosted on third-party infrastructure located in Canada.

What we collect

If you write, call or use the enquiry form, we receive the details you choose to send: name, company, email, telephone if provided, the plan and budget you selected, and the text of your message. We use those details to reply to the enquiry and, if work follows, to open the engagement file.

The hosting provider may record technical logs such as IP address, browser type, date and the page requested. Those logs are used to keep the site available and to diagnose faults. They are not used to build advertising audiences.

Cookies

The site stores a small preference when you accept the cookie notice so the bar does not return on every page. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which may set its own technical cookies. The map on the contact page is an embedded Google Maps frame and is loaded only on that page. The Cookies page lists these items.

How we use information

Enquiry details are used to respond, to assess fit against the published retainers, and to keep a record of what was agreed if an engagement starts. We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry details to run advertising to those individuals.

Client account data that we see during an engagement — ad accounts, analytics, order extracts — stays inside the tools the client owns. That data is used to deliver the contracted work and is not reused for other clients.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can see prior correspondence if you write again. Engagement files are kept for the life of the contract and for a further period required for invoicing and dispute handling, then reduced to the financial records we must hold. Host logs follow the host’s standard rotation.

Access and correction

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request a correction. Write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you believe a complaint remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable.

Transfers

The website is hosted in Canada. Email and office tools may process messages on infrastructure in Canada or another country where the vendor operates. We do not operate a separate marketing database outside this practice.
