Paid media run as a measured operation, not a monthly guess.

Markentivo runs paid channels, analytics and landing-page work as one operating team on a fixed monthly retainer. We report against the indicators agreed in writing before spend starts, so the fee and the media budget stay visible as separate numbers.

Firm

What Markentivo is

We work with Canadian companies that already sell online or generate enquiries through a website: B2B software, e-commerce, professional services, clinics and schools that depend on booked appointments. The typical client has a media budget large enough to need weekly attention and a back office that can say what an order or a qualified enquiry is worth.

The job is to operate the paid channels and the steps after the click. That includes account structure, bidding rules, creative tests, conversion events and the landing pages that take the traffic. We do not mark up media and we do not take a percentage of spend. The retainer is the fee for the work.

Paid Search & Shopping

Search accounts are built around margin and query intent, with match types, negatives and day-part budgets written down before launch. Shopping feeds are checked for missing identifiers, weak titles and broken availability. Each week we read the search-term report, move wasted queries out, and adjust bids where the cost of a result has drifted from the plan.

Included in: Core Performance, Full Funnel. Diagnostic Sprint reviews the current build.

Paid Social

Meta and LinkedIn are run with audience rules that start from first-party lists when the client can share them. Catalogues, frequency caps and a written creative test queue sit beside the media plan. We retire ads that have saturated their audience and keep a record of what was tested, for how long, and why it was stopped.

Included in: Core Performance (one social channel), Full Funnel (second channel). Creative packs are add-ons.

Analytics & Measurement

Conversion events are named, de-duplicated and checked against orders or booked enquiries in the client’s own system. Where a browser-only tag loses too many events, we add a server-side path. UTM rules stay short and consistent so weekly numbers can be reconciled. A Looker Studio dashboard is part of the retainer, not a separate product.

Included in: every retainer. Implementation projects are priced as add-ons.

Conversion & Landing Pages

We inspect form steps, cart paths and load time on the pages that receive paid traffic. Tests cover headlines, offers and form length, one change at a time, with a stop rule written in advance. Layout edits stay inside the pages in scope; they are not a rebuild of the whole site.

Included in: Full Funnel. Single-page builds are add-ons on Core Performance.

Rhythm

How an engagement runs

1

Account and data audit (weeks 1–2)

We collect access to ad accounts, analytics and the store or CRM, then map how spend is split and which conversions are actually firing. The client receives a written audit with the gaps that would distort the first month of decisions.

2

Measurement baseline and tracking fixes

Events, UTMs and the definition of a result are locked before new campaigns scale. The client gets a baseline sheet so later months can be compared to the same objects, not to a moving target.

3

Build and launch

Campaigns, budgets, audiences and the first creative set are built against the 90-day plan. A launch checklist is signed off in writing, including who can change bids and who approves extra spend.

4

Weekly optimization and test queue

Each week we review cost, volume and the active tests, then write a Friday note with what changed. The client sees the queue, the stop rules and the next two tests in line.

5

Monthly review and next-quarter plan

A 45-minute call walks through spend, results and the change log. Decisions on budget and scope for the following month are written down so the next cycle starts from an agreed list.

Reporting

Reporting you can check

Reports are built from the advertising platforms and from the client’s own analytics. Account access stays with the client; we work inside those accounts and do not move spend into an agency wallet. Each report lists media cost, enquiries or orders, the cost of a result, and the changes made in the period, so a finance lead can reconcile the numbers without a walkthrough.

Scoping

Illustrative engagement scenarios

These are planning scenarios we use in scoping conversations. They describe method, not promised outcomes.

Regional e-commerce brand, $25,000 monthly media budget

The catalogue is live on Shopify and paid search already carries most of the volume, but Shopping titles and negatives have not been maintained. In the first 90 days we rebuild the feed rules, split brand and non-brand, and put a weekly search-term review on the calendar. We judge the work by cost per order, the share of spend on branded queries, and whether back-office revenue matches the platform within an agreed tolerance.

B2B software company selling to Canadian mid-market

Leads arrive from LinkedIn and Google Search into a CRM, and sales rejects a large share as unqualified. The first quarter is spent tightening the conversion definition, rebuilding audiences from closed-won records, and writing a landing page that asks for the fields sales actually uses. We look at qualified opportunities, cost per accepted lead, and the time from click to first sales action.

Multi-location services business with phone and form enquiries

Call tracking and form events disagree, and two locations run their own campaigns. We unify naming, fix call events, and set location-level budgets that can be read in one dashboard. The reading is booked appointments by location, cost per booked enquiry, and unused budget that sat in the wrong city.

Tell us what you are spending and what it has to return.

Send the channels you run, the monthly media budget, and the result your finance team will accept. We reply within one business day with the retainer that fits the volume of work, or with a clear reason we would not take the account.
